Short History

With a privileged location in the Demarcated Region of Douro, in Northern Portugal, Quinta do Crasto has been owned by the family of Leonor and Jorge Roquette for over a century. Like the great Quintas of Douro, the origin of Quinta do Crasto dates back to ancient times in the history of the country: the name Crasto derives from Latin castrum, meaning "Roman fort."
